I have been here several times over the years and it’s always been ok but I Have been here twice in the last couple off weeks and it’s been exceptionally good , not sure what has changed but it is definitely better , our first visit was with a party of 9, admittedly the meals took a while to come but when they did they were worth the wait everyone in my party ordered a different and they all came together and looked amazing everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they received. I went the following week and again the meals were perfection 10/10. The staff are very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, I will defiantly be back

Lovely food! And they did fit us in, last minuite! If I had to offer any feedback I'd say the food service could of been a smidge quicker. As we were waiting over an hour between ordering and getting our meals, but still like I said the didn't fit us in last min on a Friday night!

Food was fantastic especially for the price. They even made an apple crumble dessert for me without cinnamon as I don't like cinnamon. Fantastic cannot recommend more highly

Dog friendly pub area with a lovely fireplace. The food was great! We had pea and ham soup as starter, which was hearty and yum (with a little kick which was great for a cold day). The lamb was really delicious and generous in portion too. The chicken satay was delicious as well, nice spicy, and the homemade satay sauce was good (not authentic but good enough). Crispy beef was deliciously sticky. There is a lot of chicken in the Chicken Cesar salad, lovely and moist meat which was given a garlic herb rub, really delicious. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, friendly and attentive staff. All and all, two thumbs up!

Excellent food ,although a little too much for us OAPs, not a complaint,just an observation.we had fish and chips and chicken curry .Service was good and pleasant,polite and helpful staff. It is many years since I was last here. It will not be very long before I come back again. Very reasonable prices too. Enjoyable lunchtime.
